  1. Hayden Moore was born and raised in Georgia and has lived in New York City for the past twelve years. In the past five months, he has been published thirty times for his short stories: twice in Corner Bar Magazine, Metonym Literary Journal, Drunk Monkey Literary Journal, Fictional Cafe, Modern Literature, Calliope, Wood Coin Magazine, Wink Magazine, Verdad Magazine, Wilderness House Literary, Blue Moon Literary and Art Review, Deep Overstock Journal, Wild Roof Journal, Oddville Press, Dream Noir, The Scriblerus, Prachya Review JOHAHmagazine, La Piccioletta Barca, Quail Bell, The Green Light, Astral Waters, Literary Heist, Pif Magazine, The Closed Eye Open, Flatbush Review and Wingless Dreamer. He lives with his wife and cat on the waters of Jamaica Bay in Queens.


  2. Hazel lives in Oxfordshire in an old bakery dating back to the 1700’s. Her work has been published in many places and awarded her various scholarships, mentorships and competitions. She is also an alumni of National Centre for Writing’s Escalator Prize, Swanwick’s TopWrite Mentorship Scheme and was a Women’s Prize for Fiction Young Adult Judge in 2010. Hazel is currently working on her first novel, which is heavily inspired by folklore and fantasy.


  3. Only ideas outnumber the books in Hazel's home. Breathing life into fairy tale mash-ups, monster monstrosities, and retold myths is kinda what she does.   4. Originally from South Korea, Heain Joung holds an MA in Creative and Critical Writing from Sussex University. She now lives in the UK. Her short fiction has appeared in the Quick Fiction app(Myriad Editions, Brighton) and in the Blinkpot Award e-book.


  5. Heather Anne Kroeker is Canadian writer who currently lives in London, England, where she works as an editor and journalist. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature, and an MA in International Journalism. This is her first published work of fiction.


  6. Helen Harjak was born in Estonia, studied literature and philosophy in Scotland, and now lives in London, where she works as a freelance copy editor and journalist. In 2021, she was part of A Brief Pause, a professional development programme for short story writers, run by Dahlia Publishing. Her work is forthcoming in the anthology Small Good Things.


  7. Hien Fox is a fledgling speculative fiction writer who seeks to weave Vietnamese folklore and tradition into the worlds she creates. Some of her first works have been accepted by Insignia Stories.


  8. Hilary finally found her writing place in 2020 and has been creating short fiction with a speculative, magical realist flavour ever since. Several of her stories have been published in printed anthologies and her first ever flash was recently longlisted in an international competition. From Scotland, she now lives in Oxford with her husband and young son.


  9. Holly Barratt lives in Wales. She writes stories in many genres and is currently editing her first novel. Previous publications include Wyldblood Press, Oxford Greats in Flash and the Brick Lane Short Story Competition. She is inspired by history, folklore, and nature. Writing fights for space in her life alongside a full-time job, cat parenting, and a serious martial arts and yoga habit.


  10. Ida Keogh writes science fiction and fantasy from her Surrey home. She won the British Science Fiction Association Award for Shorter Fiction in 2020 and the 2021 British Fantasy Award for Best Short Fiction. Her work has been shortlisted for the Writing the Future Short Story Prize. Her forthcoming merfolk novella Fish! will be published by NewCon Press in 2021.
